The PMM is part of the Commercial Team and functionally the Product management and Marketing team.The PMM is responsible for Marketing and Portfolio management for in average between 1 and 3 Crops in the Commercial Team geography definition.
The PMM leads Crop Teams which manage those crops for the Commercial Team. The PMM is responsible for the management of the portfolio of products for their crop(s) throughout the lifecycle with particular emphasis on effective product advancement, launch and marketing support.
They are responsible for all elements of the marketing mix ranging from product strategy, through launch to effective demand creation and promotion Key responsibilities : Activities can include, but are not limited to : Demand Creation Participate in all types of customer and field activities with Commercial Team related to relevant Crop Define prioritized (Basic, B+, Premium) plan of products to support Agree allocation of demand creation resources Develop effective market positioning for new launches (4P's) Develop pricing strategy and Added Value assessment for pricing & recommend to RPM Define and implement compliant market funding programs (technical & customer comms) Develop and execute creative plans for demand creation with agencies Develop and execute CRM tactics in combination with Sales Develop and implement annual campaign plan with the strategic distributorsDevelop and implement with sales annual promotional demo trials plan focusing on key varieties Manage marketing budget, vendors, and agencies Portfolio Management Lead multi functional Portfolio Meeting for Specific Crop(s) within Commercial team Track Products in Crop Team Central Initiate Registrations in Trackwise in coordination with RPM Manage Portfolio Meetings and Advancement / Exit Recommendations to RPMs Strategic Organize gathering and validation of Market Intelligence (Mkt size, trends, competitive price) dataConstantly analyze distributor portfolio to support product allocation efficient process Portfolio Team input into Breeding targets (PMT) with RPM Participate in COP with Commercial Teams Participate in Monthly IBP Demand Review Accurate Forecasting aligned with Sales to input to IBP for CY + 2 onwards Develop and align PHA with Portfolio Team and RPM Work across all functions to input to LRP Work across all functions to input to Budget
