Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Set assigned station with the determined amount of mise en place in a timely manner.
Works in a safe manner following all of the HACCP safety rules and regulations.
Follow safe work habits when working with kitchen equipment such as knives, slicer, ovens, stoves, food processors and mixers.
Keep workstation clean and organized at all times keeping the station stocked for the next shift.
Must be able to determine what the minimum standard acceptable for product quality is and make sure that no product is served that fails to meet that minimum standard.
Rotates food to insure freshness
Informs supervisor when product gets low before running out.
Works as a team with colleges in the culinary department and supporting departments such as culinary and stewarding.
Informs supervisor when in need of assistance
Must be able to work at a reasonable pace in order to meet the set times that are determined by supervisor.
Must be able to work under pressure and handle stress.
Previous hospitality experience is an asset
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to) :
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Visa Requirements : Must be legally permitted to work in Egypt.
