Thisposition is responsible for developing and managing the sales function andrelated activities for an assigned the IT business unit.

Meets near-term objectives by planning andimplementing strategies consistent with the long-range corporate and businessunit plan.

Accountable for designing and implementing programs and policies tomaximize levels of customer service and satisfaction throughout the company.

Hires,trains, develops, and manages a direct sales organization capable of producingfinancial and growth objectives defined in annual and long-

range strategicplans.

Participatesin management and planning processes designed to develop long-range strategies,annual objectives, tactics, and operating plans.

Developsand cultivates relationships with all major accounts.

Generates,communicates, secures approvals, implements and administers sales policies forthe assigned sales channel.

Communicatesto executives and management team pertinent information relating to status,strategy, tactics, problems, and plans.

Preparesbooking, revenue, margin and net profit forecasts and the annual sales plan.

Developsstrategies for key accounts with managers and senior salespeople

Managesprograms, which will identify and develop new markets for the company’sproducts and services.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’sdegree in Engineering

A minimumof 12 years of experience

Successfulprevious experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceedingtargets

Demonstratedability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at alllevels of the organization

Provenability to drive the sales process from plan to close

Strongbusiness sense and expertise in IT infrastructure
