Role purpose :
Responsible for providing DT & Configuration for all network Rollout related activities from the initial start-up phase till its fully integrated to VF EG Network with the highest quality to improve our customer satisfaction.
Providing DT & Configuration solutions for new commercial products & services to provide differentiated commercial services for our subscribers.
Act as a technical lead for handling and supervising all Mobile voice network DT & configuration activities within the team.
Responsible for investigating / resolving all fraud cases identified from the Finance Audit committee to minimize any revenue leakage and close all gaps.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership :
oStudy the new requirements for the integration of new voice nodes for both Core (BC, MSCS, MGW, ITP, CSDB, EIR, MNP, STP) & Access (BSC, RNC) nodes.
oPrepares & generates the required Configuration scripts for the new nodes & its integration with VF life network, PSTN and other PLMN.
oDelivers fault free nodes via proper & standard testing and acceptance procedures to ensure highest Customer Experience.
oPrepares & generates the required configuration scripts for the integration of the new P&S nodes to the life voice network.
oConfigures & performs interconnect testing for all new interconnects before carrying commercial traffic.
oUpdating the (hardware & functional acceptance) and interconnect testing processes & procedures documents.
oStudy the impact report, MOP (Method Of Procedures) and prerequisites for the Voice nodes expansions, hardware & software upgrades.
oOwning the FNI (First Node Implementation) testing and send all needed implementation instructions for rollout over rest of life network nodes.
oPrepares & generates the configuration scripts for the required day to day changes for network optimization.
oReviews the configuration scripts generated by team members to ensure its Quality to ensure the highest Network Performance & Customer Experience
oEnsures compliance with Change Management Process overall issues changes requests.
oStudies the requirements of the new features and services to provide the suitable and customized configuration solutions.
oDefines the new Mobile Numbering Series & Short Codes used by customers on Core nodes.
oHigh level of support and troubleshooting during the network problems .
oActs as a 3rd line of support to Voice, SM, CE, P&S, Finance & Commercial departments.
oHandling the monthly Accounting reconciliation with Revenue Assurance and Billing teams to ensure absence of any variance or Revenue Loss.
oActing on raised network issues to investigate and fix immediately.
oProvides knowhow transfer & technical coaching to the team members over handling teams’ activities.
oGets the most out of vendor in terms of deliverables and technical knowledge.
oCommunicates and follow up with vendors for the new nodes acceptance progress and report the outstanding points to solve during the acceptance.
oCommunicates and follow up with vendors over opened cases and CSRs to get them solved within the SLAs.
oResponsible for the establishment and implementation of the accounting plan used in interconnects billing with other PSTN and PLMN and troubleshooting any accounting problems to secure the company revenue streams.
oResponsible for the interconnect settlement with PSTN (TE) and other PLMN
oResponsible for and coordinate the troubleshooting all the liaise for problems with VFE finance department and the other PLMN relevant departments
