Support all AMIDEAST field offices located throughout the Middle East and North Africa in all accounting aspects.
Analyze general ledger accounts (such as cash accounts, accounts receivable and related aging reports, accounts payable accounts, and inventory accounts) for Amideast offices.
Review monthly bank reconciliations, providing recommendations for corrections.
Vendor setup and vendor maintenance ensuring standardization and consistency of the database
Support field office accountants with COSTPOINT problem solving
Automate and streamline processes to enhance accuracy of data while minimizing manual efforts
Develop documentation for all processes
Assist in supporting field office staff in all accounting aspects
Handle exchange rate monthly update, ensuring that the internal policy is being followed
Assist in employee / project number linking after initial project setup
Assist in orientation of new finance staff
May be tasked with doing a site visit on occasion
Customer set-up and maintenance

Skills Required :
Fluency in English
Extensive experience in Excel
Preferably certificate holder (CMA, CPA, CFA, CIA, etc.) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting 4 years in a General Accounting capacity, or equivalent experience Extensive experience using MS Excel Demonstrated analytical skills A solid understanding of accounting principles Demonstrated ability to be proactive and resourceful in a team environment 1 years’ experience using Deltek’s Costpoint software, preferred Must pass financial exam
