Senior Director of Revenue
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS :
Completed a university degree in accounting, Business Administration, or Hotel Management.
1 year experience working in Reservations or hotel revenue management or similar business analytics and strategy role.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
Proficient in Excel, Opera & Delphi. RevFinder and IDeaS tools knowledge is an asset.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to demonstrate key insights translated to fact-based decision-making.
Able to work independently with minimal Supervision.
Ability to manage time effectively, accordingly handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure and meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Maintain daily reports and present to Senior Director of Revenue and key members of the Yield Team for trend analysis and action.
Assistance with month-end reporting that evaluate revenue management.
Meet daily with Senior Director of Revenue; actively participate in weekly Revenue meetings While running the meeting in the absence of Senior Director of Revenue.
Assist Senior Director of Marketing, Senior Director of Revenue, with ad hoc projects as needed.
Deal effectively with people, creating teamwork, motivating and using an uplifting and lead-by-example leadership approach.
Assist Senior Director of Revenue in setting Participate in merchandising strategies (web featured package display, on-
line Upsell descriptions, GDS sequence, OTA placement, etc.)
Manage inventory through all distribution channels for optimal availability.
Assist Sales Team with Groups Displacement Evaluations
Create and submit hotel forecasts leveraging IDeaS revenue management system. Monitor accuracy on weekly basis.
Finds new ways to effectively generate revenue and encourage Rev PAR growth.
Identify revenue problems and opportunities with sufficient lead time to positively impact revenues.
Monitor competitive rates and positioning and perform analysis.
Maintain reports that evaluate revenue management performance including Channel Distribution, booking pace , RTU ,geographical analysis , Lead Time, Upsell Top Accounts Performance.
Assist Senior Director of Revenue in preparing Budget and Marketing Plan.
Utilize IDeaS daily, Weekly, monthly Checklists.
Delphi minimum available rates (MARs) are updated according to expected daily transient demand levels for a rolling 18 months into the future
