The SystemAssurance Manager is responsible for assuring Project scope is executed according to theapproved design, customer requirements and Siemens standards, within budget andas per the company quality, EHS and System Safety requirements.
Reporting tothe Overall / Signaling Project Manager, the System Assurance Manager willmonitor site execution progress and oversee equipment delivery as per theagreed requirements fulfillment.
He will also keep close contact to the SystemIntegration Manager, Site Managers, and liaise with field application engineersand site technicians, as well as all stakeholders (customer &consultants)if needed.
What are my responsibilities?
Initiatingengineering strategies and developing approaches to problem-solving inaccordance with the technical, operation and safety requirements, to secureProject objectives
Ensuringadequate support of strategic engineering development as per project processes.
Ensuring aquotation (offers) and order handling process designed to meet customerrequirements, whenever outside contractual scope and / or according to safetystandards.
Liaise closelywith customer and customer consultants in all Signalling system safety mattersand its related interfaces with other Systems.
Taking decisionson all technical matters concerning customer's requirements and specifications.
Coordinatecooperation between Engineering and other departments from system assuranceperspective.
Participate inworking groups for safety standards and regulations (national andinternational).
What do I need to qualify for this job?
10+ yearspractical experience in international Business, Transportation sector orcompatible
Technical / Systemknowledge in Engineering &Installation Systems Assurance Interfacing
Deep knowledgeon Railways Safety CENELEC (EN) Standards
Design andEngineering Knowledge, as well as experience with public governmental sectors
EnvironmentalProtection, Health and Safety in Knowledge
Compliance / Rules & Regulations for Systems Safety and System Integration
Internationaland national standardization and regulation in Systems Engineering
Proven trackrecord to get-things-done under time pressure in a hostile environment.
Good knowledgeof contract and claim management
Experience inconsortium contracts with several stakeholders.
Provenleadership skills within line organizations.
Excellentcomputer skills, capability to express complex matters in clear andunderstandable language, excellent presentation and writing skills.
Goodcommunication skills, effective as a team leader, decisive and persuasive, goodin dealing with conflict situations, and well accepted by costumer asintegration &safety responsible representative.
Overall systemknow-how, knowledge in system engineering, interface management, rail logisticknow-how, list of responsibilities and contract &claims and riskmanagement.
Fluent Englishin reading and writing, translation of technical documentation andcorrespondences.
