Whatare my responsibilities?

Coordination,control and follow up of installation execution, such as civil works,trenching, electromechanical equipment, signaling, telecommunications and powersupply equipment installation activities.

Supportto power and telecommunication systems tests and commissioning phase.

Planningand requisition of resources and materials.

Supervisionof execution according to specification and design documents.

Followup of progress report / field instruction (reporting to the Site Manager).

Reportingand documentation of site / section status.

Preparingand monitoring of work instructions.

Inputsfor as built drawings.

Supportin the Testing & Commissioning Team according to specification and designDocuments.

Preparationof site test sheets and documents.

Updatingof time schedules according project progress in accordance with the sitemanager.

Preparationof safety handbook & implementations, site meetings and safety inductions.

Receivingmaterials and recording and ensure compliance of quantity and specifications.

Checkall out-going material for quantity verification and conduct quality checks onincoming / outgoing.

Familiarizationwith the owners technical specification, ensures that the owners, specificationrequirement are adhered to and leases with the owners inspector or theirrepresentative.

Providingproject management / Site Manager with site status reports.

Liaisewith Project Engineering Team in order to make sure an appropriate detaildesign handover.

Health,Safety & Environmental Responsibilities :

Accepta personal responsibility to take reasonable care of team health and safety aswell as anybody who may be affected by their acts and omissions.

Takereasonable care to avoid acts or omissions that could have an environmentalimpact.

Ensurecompliance with the BMS procedures relative to their position.

Followemergency procedures.

Wearapproved protective clothing and use safety equipment when required by healthand safety regulations.

Useall equipment provided safely and notifying local management of any observeddeficiencies or defects as soon as they become apparent.

Informmanagement of any changes in materials, plant or processes and of any newmaterials, plant or processes which become apparent in the course of work thatmay impact on safety or the environment.

Informmanagement of any potential improvements that could improve Siemens Mobilityenvironmental performance.

Immediatelyinform management of any observed hazards, injuries or dangerous occurrences,which become apparent during work.

Stopwork when instructed to do so and only resume or commence work when instructedit is safe to do so.

Reportall safety and environmental incidents and accidents.

Whatdo I need to qualify for this job?

Electrical / MechanicalEngineer or Senior Technician from reputable University, college or other educationalinstitutions.

5years’ experience in site installation activities.

Knowledgeof project management methods.

Knowledgeof products to be used.

Knowledgeof relevant software tools.

Knowledgeof warehouse, storage of material, material delivery control and work preparation.

StrongEnglish communication skills

Technicalcompetence and negotiation skills.

Intercultural / multinationalexperience.

Teamwork skills and abilities.
