CO₂ emission-reduction solutions

  • Stop-Start system : Valeo was the first supplier to offer customers this system that automatically shuts the engine off when a vehicle is at a standstill, saving as much as 15% in fuel consumption in dense urban traffic.
  • Mild-hybrid technology (48V) : Valeo is working on innovative hybrid solutions that require less fuel consumption and lead to lower CO₂ emissions.
  • Electric Supercharger : improves vehicle performance by up to 27% without increasing fuel consumption.
  • Being part of PTS-PEL (PowerTrain Systems Electronics) Team :

  • PTS Electronics (PEL) Product Group designs and makes all the power and control electronics for the PowerTrain Systems Business Group, for internal needs and directly for automakers.
  • PTS-PEL Software Team is delivering software to most premium Manufactures such as Porsche, Daimler, VW, Audi, PSA, Volvo, Jaguar, Land Rover, GEELY, CHANGAN, Jac.
  • Job Responsibilities

  • Actively coach and mentor the project team for process execution, policy & practices.
  • Ensure that the project organization is defined and available from the project start to support process execution and thus compliance.
  • Ensure that the assigned project team are trained in terms of development processes, methods and tools. Identify knowledge gaps and follow them up until closure.
  • Remove roadblocks in the project development process, method and tool-chain with the respective departments and teams (e.
  • g. Requirements management and requirements exchange with customer, Continuous build, integration and test, Automated test and validation, Agile methods).

  • Drive resolution of issues collected from all assessments and reviews of the project.
  • Lead Process Improvement Action Plan to reach process capability goals in project.
  • Propose tailoring and de-standardization request to the project team. Contribute to the System and Software quality assurance plan definition.
  • Contribute in preparation of accurate data for customer quality status communication at project level.
  • Share best practice and Lessons Learned with Project teams, Process Working Groups and GEEDS.
  • Communicate the process gaps identified during process piloting and rollout to Process Working Groups
  • Escalate issues in the project line management and to Quality PTM depending on the severity. Ensure that the issues are recorded in the Single List of Issues as needed.
  • Actively participate to the project QRQC
  • Check in the CCB that changes are planned correctly and that feasibility is ensured.
  • Education / Training

  • B.Sc. in Communication, Mechatronics, Electronics or Computer Engineering.
  • B.Sc. in Computer Science.
  • Job Requirements

  • 2+ years experience with the software development process, systems engineering methodologies, and test techniques.
  • Experience in training or mentoring peers in engineering methodologies is preferable.
  • Absorb and Learn new technologies.
  • Ability to travel to France, India and China & International mindset.
  • Customer main focus and customer satisfaction.
  • Self discipline and Goal commitment.
  • Result oriented.
