The Mission :

The Repair Project Manager is the first-linecontact between a customer and sales account manager / field project manager.

Theposition supports the customer service function by providing quotations andacting as a primary liaison for correspondence and communications withcustomers.

This position requires technical repair leadership and anextensive experiences working and leading a service repair facility.

What aremy responsibilities?

  • Travel as needed to Siemens locations to provide on-site support to management and existing established repair facilities.
  • Ability to learn and navigate Service location specific processes and procedures
  • Self-starter that can work remotely on various projects from all product lines.
  • Interpret customer maintenance and / or repair specifications to technical personnel for repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • Review contractual terms and conditions for service specifications.
  • Support shop personnel in execution of activity described in recommendations.
  • Liaison between client and shop regarding status, scope change, hold points, etc.
  • Develop specific quotations for repair work scopes with associated detailed costs.
  • Provide concise and descriptive work instructions to the shop floor.
  • Prepare and deliver project documentation and progress reports for internal and external customers.
  • Support and maintain lean implementation projects.
  • Assist with and support the various safety projects and initiatives within the Service Center.
  • Closely monitor ongoing job-costs, with focus on cost actual versus quote / estimate.
  • Perform contract review including Terms & Conditions per policy.
  • Prepare and issue shop instructions for inspection and repair scopes referencing all appropriate repair and factory technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists and QA manager to ensure that all jobs are completed within job specific or general quality guidelines and assurances.
  • What do Ineed to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from reputable University or college
  • A minimum of 15 years work experience in a client service role or leadership role in a manufacturing facility with 10 plus years’ experience running or leading a service repair facility
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project and Outlook.
  • Familiarity and experience with rotating equipment (steam turbine, gas turbine, reciprocating compressors, valves and dry gas seals) repairs.
  • Experience working in an organization with a strong commitment to Health, Safety and Environment.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required, estimated 25%
  • Strong technical knowledge of service related manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience with, Vacuum furnaces operation, HVOF coating booth operation, CNC programming, materials evaluations, Siemens quality systems, CMM measurements.
  • Familiarity with Siemens systems and processes
  • Fluency in the English and Arabic.
  • International experience is highly appreciated
