Job Summary :
is responsible for the Computerized Maintenance Management System, and will manage, follow-up, and continuously improve the Maintenance & reliability Function master and transactional data, using the industry best practices to enhance data accuracy, quality and credibility, and add value to the end-
users. The CMMS Engineer working environment is diverse, multi-cultural work environment with a strong emphasis on cultural sensitivity and respect.
Facilities are located in a remote and secure area, sometimes hindering otherwise self-evident work processes like meeting with external parties and movement of personnel.
The CMMS Engineer is reporting to the Maintenance Planning Manager.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION :
An Oil Refinery Located in Mostorod Area , Cairo , EGYPT, with capacity 140,000 BPD, Operates different units as NHT, CCR, DHT, HCU, HPU, VDU, DCU, DEU, Sour Water Stripping Unit , Amine Treatment and Regeneration Unit, Utilities, Sulfur Recovery Unit , and TGU.
Acts as Maintenance Function’s first line of support for SAP and associated third-party asset and maintenance management systems.
Defines and develops procedures and guidelines to guarantee the accuracy, quality and credibility of the master and transactional data in all Maintenance Information Technology (Maintenance-
IT) systems, and in accordance with data standardization and governance requirements.
Manages a workflow-driven master data creation and change request management system, upholding data standards and documenting each step in the process.
Creates and maintains master data such as, but not limited to, functional locations, hierarchical structures, equipment’s, classification and characteristics, work centres, maintenance strategies and packages, bill of materials and serial numbers.
Designs, builds and implements tools to sustain, keep secure, and cleanse data. Monitors data quality and ensures compliance with data standardization and governance requirements.
Defines authorization options that would limit end-user access to master data, reports, objects and / or views allowed, based on roles and responsibilities.
Monitors transactional data quality and preventive maintenance master data integrity (task list, preventive maintenance plans and items, measuring points, etc.
addresses areas of concern and identifies opportunities for improvements to the maintenance data accuracy, quality and credibility.
Prepares master data and / or system change report, status report, technical report, PM compliance report, and any other report as required by Maintenance management.
Required Qualifications :
Experience with the above key duties and responsibilities described above are essential.
Very strong knowledge of SAP PM Management of technical objects, maintenance processing, maintenance planning and work scheduling, and PM information system.
Strong knowledge of SAP QM quality inspection and test equipment management, SAP PM-integrated modules (MM, PS, HR and FI), and / or in other computerized maintenance management systems.
Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) is an advantage.
Excellent problem solving and a high level of analytical skills.
Proven organizational, record-keeping and time management skills.
Highly proficient in the use of SAP & MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project & PowerPoint).
Build and maintain effective working relationships with other teams.
Outstanding communication skills with good command of English.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : Position requires Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil, gas and / or petrochemical industry.
5 years of experience in SAP PM and / or QM modules, and / or in other computerized maintenance management systems.
TYPE OF EDUCATION : must have at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
