What aremy responsibilities?

Follows up,coordinates and controls installation execution of signaling, telecommunicationand power supply (LV and MV) indoor equipment.

Supports powerand telecommunication systems tests and commissioning phase.

Utilizes highleveled knowledge of technical buildings indoor cables laying methods.

Plans andprepares requisitions for resources and material.

Supervisesexecution according to specification and design documents.

Follows up onprogress reports / field instructions.

Reports anddocuments site / section status (report to the Site Manager).

Prepares andmonitors work instructions.

Inputs for asbuilt drawings.

Supports intesting & commissioning according to specifications and design documents.

Prepares sitetest sheets and documents.

Updates timeschedule according project progress in accordance with the site manager.

Prepares safetyhandbook & implementations, site meetings and safety inductions.

Receivesmaterials and recording and ensures compliance of quantity and specifications.

Checks allout-going materials for quantity verification and conducts quality checks onincoming / outgoing.

Becomes familiarwith the owners technical specification, ensures that the owners andspecification requirement are adhered to and liaises with the owner’s inspectoror their representative.

Provides ProjectManagement / Site Manager with site status reports.

Liaises with theProject Engineering Team in order to make sure an appropriate detail designhandover.

Health, Safety& Environmental Responsibilities :

Accept apersonal responsibility to take reasonable care of team health and safety aswell as anybody who may be affected by their acts and omissions.

Take reasonablecare to avoid acts or omissions that could have an environmental impact.

Ensurecompliance with the BMS procedures relative to their position.

Follow emergencyprocedures.

Wear approvedprotective clothing and use safety equipment when required by health and safetyregulations.

Use allequipment provided safely and notifying local management of any observeddeficiencies or defects as soon as they become apparent.

Informmanagement of any changes in materials, plant or processes and of any newmaterials, plant or processes which become apparent in the course of work thatmay impact on safety or the environment.

Informmanagement of any potential improvements that could improve Siemens Mobilityenvironmental performance.

Immediatelyinform management of any observed hazards, injuries or dangerous occurrences,which become apparent during work.

Stop work wheninstructed to do so and only resume or commence work when instructed it is safeto do so.

Report allsafety and environmental incidents and accidents.

What do I needto qualify for this job?

Electrical / MechanicalEngineering degree or equivalent technical education

5 years’experience in site installation activities.

Knowledge of projectmanagement methods.

Knowledge ofproducts to be used.

Knowledge ofrelevant software tools.

Knowledge ofwarehouse, storage of material, material delivery control and work preparation.

Motivated spiritin finding the correct solution for specific site-critical cases.

Experience inkeeping sub-contractors always active without causing any work stop or delay.

Knowledge in thepreparation of technical specifications and inquiry documentation.

Strong Englishcommunication skills

Intercultural / multinationalexperience.

Teamwork skills and abilities.
