about the role

  • using a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents, and maintain presentations, spreadsheets and databases;
  • using Sharepoint and Plazza to manage and maintain document libraries and information
  • devising and maintaining office systems;
  • booking rooms and conference facilities;
  • using content management systems to maintain and update websites and internal databases;
  • arranging meetings, taking minutes and keeping notes;
  • dealing with suppliers and vendors invoices (processing)
  • managing and maintaining budgets as provided by GPO or internally by Head of Department;
  • liaising with staff in other departments and with external contacts;
  • ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment supplies;
  • copy typing to produce letters, correspondence and documents;
  • arranging travel and accommodation for staff proceeding on mission;
  • organizing and storing paperwork, documents and computer-based information.
  • organizing departmental training requirements and assessing needs with the Managers.
  • Other duties may include :

  • recruiting, training and supervising junior staff, and delegating work as required;
  • manipulating complex statistical data;
  • traveling with the team or manager to take notes at meetings, take dictation and provide general assistance with presentations;
  • arranging both in-house and external events.
  • about you

    Administrative knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures, tools and terminology related to ORANGE Business Services.

    English Language must have excellent written and oral communication, including knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar, spoken and written.

    Arabic is also required. German or French is a plus.

    Customer and Personal Service knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

    Computers and Electronics knowledge of .electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and mobile devices.

    Administration and Management knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

  • Person will also be required to evolve in the future towards quality control and analysis profile where requisite knowledge and the on job training will be provided.
